Roscoe Dsane has been given a four match ban after his sending off at Oxford, this was his second red card of the season and he got the other one against Oxford as well.
Is it normal to get a four game ban? I always thought it was just three for a red card, but does getting a second straight red, then means it goes up one.
The games he will miss are at Grays tomorrow night, then home to Rushden and Diamonds, away to Altrincham and at home to Barrow.

That's right Dave, and I think if he gets sent off again this season the next punishment would be a five-game ban, and so on.
There are no more suspensions this season now for getting five bookings, BUT if any one should make it to eight they will be suspended - I believe that sanction then ends on Good Friday or thereabouts.

I am surprised at the comments on the HE page for this story. I really don't regard that challenge as a straight red at all. I understand all the "even it up" comments, but surely this one will be won on appeal. Am I seeing it right?
I suppose it will mean Carayol in the left-wing role(always poor) and the return of the hapless Carlisle on the right! Time for a Stevens start in my book.

The club will not appeal, if such an appeal fails the ban would be extended to 5 games not just 4. So pretty much debate over as this I know to be FACT!

Kind of a bizarre situation and seems somewhat excessive. I assume it's 4 matches because he's had a straight red already? So the amount of these indescretions is considered of more importance than the actual severity of them? Far more worthy offences get more lenient punishments.
I've not seen Green on the left-wing, but if he's not looked comfortable there (and we're not looking to change to 4-3-3) it's time for Carlisle to be tried there for me. Carayol deserves a stint in the side in his preferred position and of all our wingers Carlisle looks like he might be able to most effectively handle playing on the opposite wing. It's worth a try i think.
