Does anyone have any experience of the club adopting an idea from a fan?
I`ve emailed the club a few times with ideas for match day but only received a courteous acknowledgement. I`m still waiting for a reply to my last one.
I have read lots of interesting and well thought out ideas on the 2 main sites over recent seasons. But have any filtered through to the club for consideration?
If not why not?

I have never emailed the club with and Idea's myself, maybe you could post your idea's and we could discuss then. We do have Sean on the forum, maybe the best idea's could be put to him and see if he can get any thoughts from the club.

You are correct, I am an Associate Director at Torquy United and am only to willing to pass on any comments (good or bad) to the appropiate people. Rest assured we do monitor the boards and taken on board what all posters write. Please do not hesitate to PM me if you have any ideas or discussions that you want passed on. I am sure that the board is all to keen to get feedback.

Just a comment sean, I emailed the club 2 weeks ago regarding player sponsorship as I wanted to put the houraria I get from my football work back into football & i'm still awaiting a reply.
I did sound out Darryl with some ideas just before he left, who would be best to speak to now at the club?

I think if you pass on all your comments to me, I attend the club once a week and I am sure we can set up some kind of reply service. As for player sponsorship its Sally. If you pm your number to me I will pass onto her today.

That would be excellent, it is disheartening for any fan, who spends time coming up with good idea's, that they think will make the Plainmoor experience more enjoyable, only to never receive a reply. It is the one area that the club really needs to work on. So much good done on and off the pitch but to many the club seems further away. I really had hoped that I would feel so much closer, to those now running the club, but sorry i just feel more distant. |
