I do wonder if there is someone in Newton Abbot who has a secret from around 1951, that now needs to come out in the open, you see I went to bed last night and as I put my head on the pillow, I was thinking about a new thread and it contained the words HOPE and EXPECT in it.
Well the person who I feel may be the other half of the secret only went and posted those same words in his early morning post this morning.In that post he said what I was planning to say and that is I do fear at times we now live in a world where everyone just expects everything to happen just the way they want it to.
It does not happen like that in the real world and we have no right to expect it too, there is that dammed word expect again. I know what I hope for Carol, but I do not expect anything and the problem is those that just expect will find that when they don't get what they expected, they then will be looking who is to blame.
I find it strange that while we still have so much to play for, are still in a good position and still have everything in our own hands, that some feel we are not where we should be, or was that where they expected us to be. We have no right just to win this league, yes we have a good squad and it should be able to compete with most teams, but we are not alone in this division and other teams and their fans want what we want as much as we do, I hope they all don't end up expecting too much, as I still believe it will be us and Burton who do go up, well that is what I hope
