That sounds great - all I've got is one piece of white toast Yes, but how long have you been married CG? BG is still in the "honeymoon" period! ;D Been going out with my wife since the 24th May 1979 and got married on the 26th April 1986. Do you think it's time to trade her in for a younger foreign model?

CG... if you can remember the date of your first evening out together after all these years then I would say stick with it because it's obvious it still means so much to you (or else she's just drilled it into you so you never forget!) What do you call younger and foreign? The new Mrs E is only slightly younger than me (well, 12 years) and only slightly foreign (Irish!) And before she has a peep on here and sees what I wrote earlier re breakfast; I was only joking, she did a lovely one before going off to work. I just had a coffee later in the morning... honest. ps... and she does enjoy coming to the odd game...

bucks man management is cr'p end of forevertufcWell that is the user name you were using and the one you used to start the Buckle out thread and then came on here and deleted the posts you made on the thread, then deleted your account and opened up a new one with the user name torquayfan and today we have a new account set up from the same computer called gulls45Its a shame you deleted the last post you made on the Buckle out thread as I would have liked to have replied to it, I wanted to know what you felt was wrong with this forum. I can understand that you may find it strange that we do not like having banter with fans from other clubs etc and this forum is not here to be a rival for any other forum, its just a place that those who like the way the forum works and is run may want to be a member of it. Your views are always welcome, even if they may be different from others, forums are places for debates and would be boring if we all shared the same views. By deleting your first account your posts show up only as being made by a guest, it would be better if you just set that account back up again using the same user name and email etc and delete the other account, then the posts will show up being made by you. Many thanks Dave R

4eva -
I must echo what Dave R has said. I always respected what you said and your match reports on the 606.
I would back your right to your opinions on any forum. Yes, this may seem an exclusive club and there is some forthright members here - but your views are as valid to agree with or disagree with as anyone else's. You pay your money you get your say in my opinion.
Come back (in whatever guise - but TUFCForever is best).
cheers, Midlands_TU.

Many thanks Dave R gulls 45 was me just testing something was never going to post under that ,torquayfan was me reinventing myself as i thought i had burnt my breachs posting under forevertufc . i am very sorry if i have caused you upset never meant to ,i like lively keen debate i see nothing wrong with someone posting a buckle out or in thread with sound reasons why,and it annoys me when some one express's their buckle out opinion to be called not a real torquay fan they do it because they are , my buckle out thread was meant as a p#ss take that went wrong ,your right i do like banter not just with fans of other clubs but with gulls fans aswell. i think theirs nothing worse than a forum where a topic is posted and every one comes in behind with how they agree ,sorry for useing your name's but the dave shaws and brucie of dot net make the forums ,their not scared to say what they think or say something contoversail knowing full well they will be shouted down,i rarely if ever agree with them but with out them all you get is the yep i agree with that brigade . in the reply i touched on something you said in your kneejerkers thread about how glad you were that this forum did not have a flood of threads about buckle that you read on another ,tuesday night emotions were running high ,on that forum their was a lot of opinions and alternative suggestions on was right and wrong ,and what people would do personaly to put things right, some were rude some were controversail ,and few were just plain nice ,i have since spoken to a few people i know personaly who post on that forum and the 1 thing we all agree on it was the most enjoyable time we had spent on any forum for some time. i think this is a well run forum ,just dont think you should turn your back on a bit of banter or something that may stirr up a can of worms from time to time ,that gets people going. 1 last thing do think i should return to my forevertufc username , if so i will . many thanks dave forevertufc

I would like to answer a few points you made in your post, yes I was glad we did not have any anti-buckle posts, only because they really would serve no real purpose, many members are just that bit older on this forum and therefore tend not to over react when the team loses a game.
I really don't think that we all nod heads and agree on the forum, but most will offer good arguments and do so in an adult fashion as surely that is how we should all treat our fellow members on the forum.
Many forums have ended up being ruined by having banter boards running, I have put so much work into this one and I really do love the place and I know so many enjoy the way it runs now and I will aways do my best to maintain the standard this forum is now known for.
It will always be different from the other forum and it needs to be, so that both forums will appeal to different types of users, while many will feel happy and welcome to use both. If and when the time comes when I feel Bucks needs to go, I will start a thread and not be afraid to voice my own views, I have always been known to do that and nothing has changed honest.
All the best Dave R

Come on Dave I always over-react, forevertufc mate Dave puts up with me so on that theory alone I think you`ll be just fine. You`ll find this site is full of people all headed in the same direction generally, we all want the best for OUR club!
