Yes I saw that news yesterday and In Sowton Est In Exeter, they have them there. In Exeter its the same spot every year and why stones etc are not put there I do not know. Its the same at Clennon, one has to ask how cars and caravans should be able to get access. I know we all have to live somewhere, maybe proper sites should be set up, but as always, where? as people do not want camps in their back yards.

There are some spot-on comments made there, especially those saying what would happen if Jo Public were to camp on the green somewhere. Perhaps you should organise a weekend camp on Paignton Green or Tor Abbey Meadows for us forum users....I am sure the police & council would act pretty darn quick then! ;D

If the gates were not locked, you have to ask why, I do feel that as they are really breaking the law, they should just be moved off. Still its the country we live in these days
