I've posted this on The Other Site (boo, hiss etc) because they have that 'Videoman' chap lurking around, but maybe someone here has ideas too (BBCGull?):
I was wondering about the possibility of the club cobbling together some sort of Promotion 2003/04 DVD? I know there was talk of just such a thing at the time but it was squashed for some reason (probably Bateson being cheap). In these dark non-league days it'd be good to be able to occasionally look back to better times.
Even though we all know what eventually came of that promotion, no-one can deny that the stuff offered up by Aggy, Fowler, Graham and co was mind-boggling at times. I was so proud to be a TUFC fan*...we were applauded out of more than one away ground and won fans with our football in a number of places. It'd be great if now, copyrights etc permitting, we could produce some sort of season review? I'd certainly pay a decent price for something like that.
Any ideas anyone?
*i'd like to add the caveat that i'm NOT saying i am no longer proud to be a TUFC fan. Indeed i am much more proud of the way the club is run now. But on a more superficial level, playing teams off the park with jazzy showboating was fun, for a while. Especially Oxford at home. I'm convinced Atkins bailed out of his job just before that fixture because he knew he was onto the hiding he'd been asking for from us for so long.

Good idea Pete and I'd certainly pay some money to own it.
I was actually a member of Gulls World that year as I was away a lot and could never get to any games. I had all the highlights from that season saved on my computer which subsequently died and I lost them forever. To say I was gutted is an understatement.
Have you had any luck with Videoman or anyone?
