Boxing Day 2008, and a short trip to THE WESSEX STADIUM - home to WEYMOUTH FC was the order of the day for Torquay's travelling masses. Here are a few snaps of the ground, taken on what proved to be a bitterly cold afternoon - warmed only by the 1-0 away win for The Gulls, watched by a crowd of 2323, of which the Yellow Army must have made up at least half !! THE HOLLYBUSH STAND - THE AWAY END TO YOU AND ME!! FROM MY ELEVATED VIEW IN THE MAIN STAND,THE COVERED TERRACE OF THE COMPTON STAND. OFF TO THE LEFT, THE CARLSBERG STAND - AKA THE HOME END!! DOWN ON PITCH LEVEL AFTER THE MATCH, THE WONDERFUL AWAY TERRACE!! AND ACROSS THE PITCH, THE COMPTON STAND - WHERE THE LOCALS HAD FROZEN THEIR COBBLERS OFF ALL AFTERNOON!! THE COVERED CARLSBERG STAND "UNDER THE LIGHTS." AND FINALLY, A GLIMPSE OF THE MAIN STAND - THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN MARGINALLY BEFORE FROSTBITE FINALLY SET IN!!
