I know we often moan about radio Devon and with good reason, but you would think a local radio station, that broadcasts from the harbour in Torquay, should get its facts correct. Driving to work the 5.30am news had a sports piece on the end, if you are planing to go to Southport, please think again. Gemini claim we have a great chance to cement our place in the play offs when we play Grays tomorrow.Lets hope no fans who are not up to date with fixtures goes to the wrong ground

Dave..... Gemini no longer present from the harbourside!... they moved everyone up to Exeter Business park. The onll local radio station is Palm now.
Same as Westcountry TV who are moving to Bristol, and cutting over 100 jobs.
We have the same presenters and the same songs as Exeter.... be like me and listen to good old Radio 2!

snakey thanks for the information, the move must have been recent? sure in the summer they talked about being on the balcony, looking over the harbour. I only have the radio on that station in the car and only for my journey to my works in Newton Abbot. I play the same CD on the way home, The Eldorado's Overture by the the great ELO.
During the day in my company vehicle, I do have radio two on all day, as I love the programs that are on, plus as I drive such big distances, having on radio two means I never have to change stations.

And listening to the 7pm News and Sport on Palm tonight, there was actually an interview with Scott Bevan about tomorrow's game...at Southport as well, so it seems they are paying attention to TUFC!

On the odd times I have had Palm Fm on, I have heard news about TUFC etc, I do have it tuned into one of the presets on my car radio, I think its time to make the switch and get back to proper local radio and not some station up at Exeter. ;D
