I think we all hoped that Chris Todd would be on the bench for the Coventry match, we got to the last sub about to be called out and I was waiting for the biggest cheer to go up around Plainmoor. Sadly it did not happen and I do not know if it was just wishful thinking on his part, or if Bucks had given him a hint, that he might make the bench.
It does look now, that he may well go out on loan for a while and the question really is, at what level would it be best for him to start playing again. It would not be a team in the BSP, if it was felt he could come back at this level then surely we could give in some run outs in our own games.
So maybe a club like Truro would be a good one, he would know Rice and have a former City mate to train with and the demands would not be so much.
If not Truro there is always Crediton, close to where he lives and it would make real sense to me.Failing that would playing for say Newton Spurs be an option?, could that be any benefit to him, or would playing on poorer pitches risk him getting injuries, what do you think?

i have just posted a similar thing on the other site. Chris loves it a torquay and he will be thinking of going on loan pref to weymouth as his first choice, he is not leaving the club just going to get match fitness of a few games and hopefully see him back playing at plainmoor soon, he is making plans after his wedding on sunday so watch this space........

WSM !!!! I could go and watch him and Hilly in the same then !! Yes that would be a good choice Dave and as I drive past the new ground twice a week, I might even get to take a game in while I'm there. The ground sure did not move very far from where it was, I would expect the move was only because they got, or someone got a good price for the land that those new flats are built on now. I have some great laughs with the boys and girls at W.S.m Fastners and Nuts and Bolts, I even know the name of the lady who drives the Transit van smack wagon on the estates up there, mind you I do try and time it so I just happen to be at Nuts and Bolts when she pulls up, I love the food she serves up. Her name is Dawn and she drives the tastiest smack van in the west

Just ask one of the dodgy characters hanging around Castle Circus (not Nick Bye!) and they will sort you out!! ;D
