Really fancy going to Lewes tomorrow. Someone owes me some money in Shoreham and I hope to pick it up on the way so could be a good trip especially if the result is right. I have room for a passenger(s). I will be leaving Totnes at 2pm. I have a bit of a nail of a car, a Peugeot 106. With a prevailing wind should be there in plenty of time for the match. I lied, its not luxury. I bought it the same day we played Wrexham at home 2 weeks ago. It was broken into the first night in Plymouth and they stole my Torquay United scarf. They jemmied the door which I have bent back but it does whistle. Heater doesn't work, no radio but hey, it will be a good trip. Incidentally I found my scarf 3 days later tied around the wing mirror of another car about a hundred yards away from where mine was broken into. Anyhow, this and other enthralling stories we can discuss on the way up and back. You can email me on squashsam@btinternet.com or on this thread. It will be lonely on my own.

A Peugeot 106? Is that the car of choice for the protection racketeer these days? ;D

It does seem someone is fearing a "knock on the door" from Sam If you DO make it in that old tin can, look for us in the Lewes Clubhouse pre-match mate and you can throw some of that cash around at the bar!

To be fair Sam, you are basically asking people if this is how they want to die.

Just a messege for Sam. That player we were wondering about who played for us and was an Argyle legend was: Mickey Evans.
I had this on my mind for ages since the car trip to Lewes and only rememberd his name when a friend of mine had said he went to his testimonial ages ago.
