Although making a single investment of £500 would not gain you any extra rewards, you would be making a greater contribution to the success of the CSI. Bang on Bob. It is not so much “What can the football club do for me?” as “What can I do for the football club?”. Im not sure if 1990 was the last time we made shares avaliable to the public and whether we hit that sales target or not. Either way it wasnt a bad omen with a glorious promotion at the end of that season.

Things have been tight in the media department but that is now being alleviated. I will confirm shortly. Nice to see that Paul Wotton will be joining from what I understand will be at least 4 TUFC directors to take questions from fans.

A compromise has been reached where it will be recorded but not live streamed. I will be going and will be happy to put forward any questions if anyone pm’s me or email info@tust.co.uk by this evening.

link - good summary from Dave Thomas who was at the event last night. I am pretty sure season ticket sales are around 1500 though as opposed to 1300 which he stated but would concur that they are up around 25% this season. Some of that would be on the back of the increased attendances at the end of last season as more fans want to get on board with the club from the start of the season, particularly as the benefit of being a season ticket holder if say we are in the playoffs again is very apparent in a packed Plainmoor. Lots of work and initiatives are being undertaken to increase revenue although a £400,000 loss is still predicted this season on current projections although a good cup run would alleviate that somewhat….. We had a brief insight into the recent fansurvey which closed last week and that will be published together with Mark Thomas’s financial report along with a recording of the evening.

I think it was said that season ticket revenue was up 25% not number of tickets sold. Can’t remember the numbers but 13 hundred and something last season to 15 hundred and something this. Interesting change in premier league youth loans which now can be just for a month and no longer have to be from window to window. This means clubs will be more willing to loan young players out for work / life experience without demanding / incentivising them getting game time.
