link - amazing to think that it was only a week ago that a deal was reached with the Bryn consortium to take over the club and just 10 days before that, they were asked to step into the breach. Work continues apace behind the scenes with lots going on, but some degree of normality has been restored with the first two preseason friendlies booked in starting with an away game against Buckland on 12 July and a home game against Exeter at the end of the month. I will certainly appreciate these games more as we are lucky to still have a club.

Back to Buckland, great. Is the Keyberry Arms still open?

link - unsurprisingly a home game against Plymouth has been arranged for the 27th July. Nice tough end to pre-season with a few more games needed between this and the Buckland Game. Wonder if there will be an away day in Cornwall?

Wonder if there will be an away day in Cornwall? Usually get a good crowd for this PSF, with big Argyle following-with the Rooney factor thrown in, could be 4,000 +. Great pre-season revenue earner.

Wonder if there will be an away day in Cornwall? If you mean Truro I doubt it. Can't remember if we've ever played a psf against a club in our own division. Been a while since we've played the likes of Newton Spurs or Stoke Gabriel.

Hold on a minute. Just how many of our new squad have been signed because their dad's did some work on Warnock's house?

link - final work has been undertaken to the pitch so guess we just have to let nature take its course but it should be looking good for first game back at Plainmoor.

Wotton found the hill down to Babbacombe beach and not the first Torquay manager to use it in their pre season training schedule! At least they were able to recuperate in the Cary Arms afterwards.
