Tonbridge V. Torquay Sat 16th March : M25 Closed for weekend

Those travelling to the away game by road on Saturday are warned that :
]The M25 is to be closed over the weekend from 9pm Friday to 6am Monday morning
in both directions to allow for the demolition of a bridge in the ongoing roadworks
and reconstruction of junction 10
Closures are from junction 11 to 9 which means that travelling up to M3 & travelling
anti clockwise towards junction 5/A21 to Tonbridge is closed.
Options : travel opposite direction, over Queen Elizabeth Bridge & down into Kent
Or : Come Off M3 junction 4A to Guildford, pick up A25 to Dorking onto Reigate/Redhill and
pick up the M25 in later junctions
However the congestion/traffic chaos is expected to be massive. The shutdown is between Heathrow
& Gatwick airports with local roads further expected to be at a standstill.
I now live just off the M25 at Leatherhead, junction 9
