Pitch inspection tomorrow morning - so check before travelling or buying the stream.
Taunton are under a transfer embargo, could only name two fit subs on Saturday, lost 6-0 and lost their captain to a hamstring injury at half-time.
Slough's defence was almost as bad as ours. With captain Grimes missing, Taunton's could possibly be even worse - if that is possible.
Might we have a chance of scraping a 5-4 win?
They say a muddy pitch is a great leveler, but no leveling required when you have on current form the two worst teams in the league.

United’s away match at Taunton Town this evening (13/02/24) has been postponed.

Truro City are now ground-sharing with Taunton Town and this Saturday are due to play home to Taunton. However, the Taunton ground is still severely waterlogged so the game has been switched to Gloucester City, a club who are actually in National League North!
We are due at Wordsworth Drive on 9th April for the away game with Truro, while this fixture (Taunton v Torquay) has yet to be rescheduled. In fact, our game with Taunton is one of THREE that Taunton still have to find dates for, with there already being a Tuesday game scheduled at that ground for every week between now and the end of the season, except 2nd April which is the day after the full set of games on Easter Monday.
What chance Thursday 4th April or Thursday 18th for our visit to play Taunton?!

What chance Thursday 4th April or Thursday 18th for our visit to play Taunton?! The club has announced that this game will be played on Wednesday 17th April, just one day after Truro City host Dover Athletic on the same pitch. Let's home warm weather is wit us come April so that we are not playing on a pitch that reflects it being the 7th game played on it in 17 days... Link to article on OSFYI: Monday 1st April - Taunton Town home to Bath City Saturday 6th April - Truro City home to Aveley Tuesday 9th April - Truro City home to The Mighty Gulls Thursday 11th April - Truro City home to Yeovil Town Saturday 13th April - Truro City home to Maidstone United Tuesday 16th April - Truro City home to Dover Athletic Wednesday 17th April - Taunton Town home to The Mighty Gulls

If Mods wouldn't mind opening a new thread for Truro away game in The Matchday Room, this post can be moved there. In the meantime... So the run-in up to our game will be: Friday 29th March - Gloucester City home to Brackley Town (3pm) Friday 29th March – Truro City home to Slough Town (5pm) Thursday 4th April - Truro City home to Hemel Hempstead Saturday 6th April - Gloucester City home to Chester (3pm) Saturday 6th April - Truro City home to Aveley (7.45pm) Tuesday 9th April - Truro City home to The Gulls I wonder what state the pitch will be in by then..?

Gloucester have an artificial surface so have been totally resilient to weather issues so far. Doubt if there will be any problem with getting games on at Gloucester. The issue is whether Taunton can get their games on. It has been obvious for weeks that there was no chance whatsoever of them getting Truro’s games on too, so the only surprising thing about this announcement is that it was not made earlier.
