After a good win against Yeovil last weekend, an opportunity to continue a bit of good form helped by the new loanees, particularly Dolan and the return of a now fit De Silva. We are still outside the play offs but only 5 points behind second place with the gap to Yeovil 14 points showing the quality of the league. link - TUFC match preview |

We were much much better last Saturday with fit again Dolan (who was superb), Williams and De Silva adding a badly needed injection of pace and energy.
Archer will be available to add a bit more. How far away is Lapslie?
This is the kind of game we must win if we are to finish top three - which must be our expectation.
Not much in this league between 2nd and 15th at the moment. Are we going to stay in the middle of that bunch or rise to the top of it?

On this form, maybe seventh place might be the height of our ambition. Underachieving badly yet again. Thought this would be a close game, was not expecting a thrashing. |

Stobbs and Collins on for De Silva and Crowe.
I’d be interested to know the formation today.
Against Yeovil, most had us down as a back four.
I thought we started with a back three but if one wing back pushes up, the back three shuffle across and the other wing back drops back.
Because De Silva was constantly getting forward and Crowe very rarely getting forward we almost ended up with a permanent back four. Dolan was more inside left than wide left, so certainly not a balanced 4-4-2.
Guess now Stobbs and Collins will take turns getting forward making it a more clear-cut 3-5-2.
