A doubly historic day tomorrow for the women’s team as they start their campaign in the national league for the very first time but also England women play their very first World Cup final at 11 am. The compromise reached is that the match will go ahead 90 minutes after the end of the England match - linkso 2:30 pm, if it finishes in normal time and possibly an hour later, if it goes to extra time and maybe penalties!
It will be interesting to see how many of the seven new signings start tomorrow’s game, with Sasha and Jenna injured, there are gaps in the defence and plenty of competition elsewhere!
