PSF: Torquay United v Exeter u23 2pm 13/08/23

While I was unable to get to the game before halftime, I was very pleased to see a good 2–1 victory over this young but talented Exeter side. With new players coming in, we now certainly have a lot more depth to the squad and now seem to be integrated into the team. Some nice interchanges of passing today and we were able to put a lot of pressure on the Exeter goal. Player of the season Ocean Latto scored in the first half, but it was up to the captain, Tracey Cross to score the winner from close range showing some good skill and strength to take the ball towards the edge of the 6 yard box before hitting it past their keeper.

Looking forward to the new season, where we play in a new league that is actually higher than the one we have just exited, away to Portishead Town next Sunday.
