link - playing at Coach Road. This is the women’s second preseason game. Only £2 entry at coach Road. Map have just been promoted to the division that we have just left! This nicely rounds off a full weekend of football, just need a couple of hours of dry weather at Old Trafford to give us time to take those last six Australian wickets!

link - Didn’t get the dry weather at Old Trafford but certainly did at coach road for a pleasant afternoon. Very different to the men who started with the strongest XI and then send on the rest at various points in the second half. More trialists and new signings all mixed in with the regulars from last season who chopped and changed into unfamiliar positions themselves so a more disjointed game as expected in the pre-season programme. Thought Emma in our goal did a good job to earn a clean sheet and matched by the MAP goalie at the other end to keep the score respectable. A goal in each half with last season’s top scorer, Connie scoring the second and also unlucky to see a lob crash back from the crossbar and will be missed for the first two games as she serves out the remainder of her red card suspension. Nice to see some of the new signings make an impact although Milly is still away on her hols.
