Despite re-signing everyone from last year and Milly joining the team earlier this week, think more will be joining shortly as Elwood looks to further strengthen the squad in what is a more competitive division.

link nice interview with Rhi Bailey on Torquay Talk who are sponsoring her this year. A combative midfielder who I thought was player of the match on a number of occasions last year. Was certainly missed against Cardiff! Sad to report that the popular Sasha Mole needs further surgery on her damaged right knee and will be out for the season but should be back for pre season next year. A couple of new signings have now been made and should be announced on TUWFC social media this week…..

Big welcome to the club for Lucy Palmer - link, Emma Hollingsworth - link and Rachel Griffith - link. I think Lucy comes from Exeter development squad and the other two bring lots of experience from the National League and should play a big part in the club’s fortunes this season. |

Final signings before the season starts are Chloe Kind - link and Ella Stephens - link and a warm welcome to both. So seven new signings to supplement last season squad given greater strength in depth which is what I think we will need. The only bad news is that Connie Pengelly, who did so well for us last year has unfortunately gone back to Exeter. I think Chloe coming in is a like for like replacement. Exciting times as we play at this level for the first time. |
