Mark Smith, Andy Rowland, Mark Coombe. I think Russell Musker was there for a year before switching to Teignmouth GS. Rags would know - he was the same year. Stunning memory, Jon. He was at my primary school, Sherwell Valley, for the final year and at TBGS for the first year. I was in the same class as Mark Smith, and also Maurice Cox's brother who was a very good footballer. |

I well remember Russell turning up at Sherwell Valley and playing in our 1973 Bewley Cup final team. I am pretty sure he was not at TBGS when I got there in 1974. I remember you saying he did go to TBGS. So at least one of the three statements below must be true: 1. I have lost my marbles 2. You have lost your marbles 3. Musker changed schools in 1974 My money is on number 3, but I would not rule out a sneaky accumulator on all three being true. |

link -De Silva returns! This time on a permanent and gives us good cover in the wingback position, and potentially allows Collins to cover one of the striker positions.

I wonder if we have looked at Tyler Harvey (Truro), even part time I’m sure would be a good signing. All our signings have looked good until they put on the TUFC shirt and step out onto the pitch. There's something about the coaching that is making good players look not so good. |

Sounds like Martin and Marshall gave the impression of two new signings the other night. Gary Johnson saying similar in his Press Call. Would still like to see a couple more, with Hall and Dawson out and Lapslie being every other game so far. Slightly surprised we haven’t seen any incomings.
Still see finishing above Yeovil as the spot that gets top spot come the end of the season. We are two points behind them after they pulled it back against Truro, but could do without the usual slow early season form we seem to have often had in recent campaigns.

Apparently can play either centre forward or on the wing. Scored 6 in 17 on loan at Eastbourne last season.
Looks promising. If he's anywhere near as good as Lawrence we should be ok.
