Last time we were the only full time team in the division, this time there will be least two others.
People forget that Johnson achieved promotion using Gary Owers team in the most part, does anybody think this current side is any where near to Owers side.
I won't rule out going up but it's going to be tough and if it doesn't work out will Edwards/Osborne sack the manager a few games into the season with the budget already spent like they have done in the past.

If we can keep the majority of the best players that we have now (Halstead, Jarvis, Lapslie, Hall, Moxey, Dawson, Nouble, Stobbs, maybe include Martin in that list), then yes.

Need to hit the ground running so not playing catch up, so a good core of players to continue the good form of the last month or so is a must. Still clutching a few unlikely straws that we may not be relegated.

There’s been a lot of talk (some by GJ himself) about the team that has played the last 8 games being of playoff standard. If we were given a reprieve (and kept the players) it would be interesting to see how true that was.
However, you only have to watch the YouTube documentary “Gate Money: Inside Non-League Football’s Funding Fiasco” to see how badly the NL is run and what you can get away with. The sooner that there’s an independent regulator for English football the better.
