An interesting article yesterday in the Guardian about the financial scandals at Juventus.
The proposed European Super League (ESL) was one factor that led to the Fan Led Review (FLR). The ESL’s origins would seem to lie in the financial malpractice of Italian football. It’s therefore interesting that this malpractice will in turn (hopefully) lead to better governance in English football if the recommendations of the FLR are passed into law.
