There has been a groundhog day feel to the season where we are we now having Gary time in reverse at the end of games which comes down to a mixture of confidence, quality and desperation to get all 3 points with banzai type attacks leaving massive openings for the opposition to exploit. Anyway, working late tonight but hope to listen in at some point during the game. TUFC match preview. |

Nouble replaces Marshall!
Can’t work out what that means in terms of formation. We look very unbalanced with five attackers starting.
Probably a 3-5-2?
Or 4-4-2 with Hall centre back and Evans centre-midfield?
Marshall and McGavin replaced in the 16 by Crowe and Wyatt.
No sign of Fadahunsi again. Injured? Utter rubbish on the bench - three defenders and a defensive midfielder.

Boreham Wood…and we all think our chances of winning there are zero! With another striker on board, we could play with an extra man up front, but that would show that we’re interested in winning…so that ain’t gonna happen! Hint!
The game tonight is not the mathematical cut off for survival of course, I think that honour will go to Maidenhead. I would have walked past that ground on a number of occasions, and never did I think that TUFC would be reduced to this. 🫗

Both Mac Gavin and Marshall were, not for the first time, culpable for the mistakes on Saturday that led to our defeat so not surprised by their omission but again just rolling the dice. As I may have mentioned before the last game the thought of Hall and MacGavin in the same line up filled me with dread.
Crowe back on the bench surprisingly thought he'd burned his bridges. In all honesty, and despite his defensive limitations, I think he offers far more going forward than any of the others who have played in the left wing back role.
The games up as far as saving ourselves so were likely to win tonight and lose at Scunthorpe - or get well drubbed by a competent Woods side that are a as good an example of a well managed NL club you will find.

I'm not buying it! You realise ofcourse we will take it to the wire now and lose out in the last minute of of the last game. Only kidding... |

Well every silver lining has to have a cloud, try this one. Yeovil despite not playing have dropped into the relegation zone behind the resurgent Gateshead and having played a game more. If Yeovil go down with us that is going to make our task a lot harder next season.
