I was invited to a meeting last Thursday night for a pasty and a free pint. Had to turn it down as the origin of the pasty wasn’t known. Good enough for rugby players! Mmm… coming from a sport where the club that finishes top of the Premiership has to go into a 4 club knockout stage. Excuse me if I don’t count on their meat and veg opinion 😜 |

McGavin actually takes a very good corner; probably the best we’ve had for a while. Shame they didn’t all come off. None of them actually came off…we didn’t score from a corner, and haven’t done for yonks. That’s not because of his corners though. More the lack of anyone able to take advantage of them. |

Improving productivity from set pieces is something which should be worked on during training. When you play stronger opposition you have to take advantage of set pieces.
