Going into the new season there are certainly some contrasting opinions amongst the fan base about the current management. Relegation last season is obviously unforgivable for a lot of supporters and any win this season will be met with nothing but begrudging praise from some.
However if we somehow manage to lose a couple of games in a row i think the pulled faces and name calling will build to a cresendo from certain quarters and whether the current management would survive a poor start remains to be seen.
Fingers crossed that the overall standard of this league is noticeably lower as it was last time and that the inevitable injury situation can be managed succesfully as well.
Yes we could do with more bodies on board and i do worry about quality in certain areas. Good luck to Gary Johnson and Aaron Downs getting us promoted this season because they owe us.

Two CB and two strikers required IMO as a bare minimum.
Dare say there’s a starlet striker on his way…

Dare say there’s a starlet striker on his way… Maybe one other striker and another centre half of a decent standard would leave me more confident if theres anything left budget wise. Anyway just make sure you hang to your PIL ticket......The Torquay gig sold out weeks ago ! |

He has been utter garbage at Hibs. In fact, he hasn’t really done anything as a manager anywhere yet seems to keep getting jobs. It’s bizarre that he has managed bigger clubs than his dad but hasn’t achieved anything like what his father has achieved in management. |

He finally finishes having taken charge of 267 Torquay United games with a win ratio of 45.3. That leaves him in third on the all time list.
If he had made it to the end of this season he would have gone into second by one game !
