Shame Liam is no longer at Derby, but good to see him get the job at Hull.
He has all the attributes to be an excellent manager.
This morning I was able to get the answer to a question about him that has troubled me since 2004.
When the team went on the open-top promotion bus tour, I managed to blag a place on the land train that went around behind it.
At the bottom of Shiphay Lane, the bus stopped. Liam jumped out and ran into a neighbouring house for a couple of minutes.
I joked at the time that he must have said “Dad, stop the bus I want a wee wee”.
Bumped into Hockers at Sainsbury’s this morning and asked about this - he confirmed my suspicions had been correct.

I find it strange in some ways that Liam Rosenior has got a bigger job and at a higher level than his dad ever did, despite the success Leroy had as a manager.
The same is true of Lee Johnson. His managerial record is nowhere near as good as his dad’s yet he has managed much bigger clubs.
