Apologies if this has been covered before, but does anyone have any advice on which pubs in London generally show the BSP games.
I dare say a fair few pubs now have Setanta, but don't want to leave it to chance. Is there any other sport being broadcast on Friday which could cause problems? It is listed as on at the Sports Cafe (albeit Thursday), but sometimes those places are a bit naff.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks

In which part of London do you anticiapte watching it, Enzo? I or one of the other CGs might be able to recommend somewhere once we know in which part you'll be. According to this site, ours is the only game on: www.livesportontv.com/sportindex.php?id=1So, you might get lucky in the Sports Bar on Haymarket - Alternatively there's the London Welsh Centre (top of Grays Inn Rd?), but get there early or the best ewes are taken. Sorry I meant views

I think I'll confirm with the Sports Bar to be on the safe side. Out of interest, for future reference, is the Spinning Wheel in your neck of the woods still Setanta friendly? Cheers

Yes, Stu.
He let me watch several games in there at the beginning of last season (until I got Setanta). He's very obliging and its almost dead even on a friday. He might not get the big screen out, but there are at least 3 small sets too.
If you're going to be there I might pop in and perhaps Mr Hayes might be up for it too?

I enjoyed the Cheshire Cheese near the Tower last time I was down - cheap beer and food and the footy on telly - great! Not sure about Sultana and TUFC games so I'm no help and will get me coat...

Might be a bit of a late contribution but when i used to live in London I would head to either the Effra in Brixton (because i lived pretty close) or Mabel's Tavern near Euston for conference football.
The Effra has, well, an atmosphere of its own, while Mabel's offers great real ales. Couldn't guarantee either will show it on a Friday night though, which I suspect will be the main problem.
Then again, try finding a bar in Paris to watch it..."'Av you got zee setantar television monsieur?'"
Guess it's the BBC livetext for me again, then...
