Seven injuries just as the season starts! The experts would be moaning that the physio must be rubbish while the real experts all agree he is England’s number one.
Nice to see Timbo christening the new sub-board hours after it was set up. I chip them over and Tim heads them in. Might change my name to Wayne Carlisle.

In terms of the youth team, there were a few reasonable prospects in that side. Ryan Ashington had a bit of promise but not as much, obviously, as Michael Williamson, who starred for Newcastle and is now manager of Gateshead. Bet he never envisaged that when he was part of that group having their photo taken.
