link - line up is out. Marshall back in defence and Evans in for Lapslie. Donnellan and Lapslie both on the bench. Tomlinson and Hall drop out of the sixteen with Hughes coming on to the bench. Hope we are just managing game time for Lapslie and Hall. I wonder if Hall travelled. Would have done him good to avoid the coach trip. |

They seem to be allowing us some chances early on.

Lapslie was on the bench because he was not fit to play. We bring him on anyway as sub for Evans and he lasts 12 minutes before going off injured to be replaced by Donnellan who wasn’t fit enough to start either. You couldn’t make it up.

I'm getting very bored with Cadigan constantly blaming the artificial surface for any injury, although I think he has stopped short of blaming the pitch for whatever is the problem with Lapslie.
