While our away form is most definitely better than our home form, it is a bit worrying that we sustained a number of injuries on Saturday which makes you wonder what sort of side we can put out just 3 days later. With Andrews and Lapslie already out, we saw Johnson, Little, Holman and Moxey all pick up injuries and if none of them are available then we could struggle but maybe a loan signing or two could help. Torquay United previewSolihull sit in mid table and have just had their first win of the season against Aldershot so anything can happen!

With Andrews and Lapslie already out, we saw Johnson, Little, Holman and Moxey all pick up injuries and if none of them are available then we could struggle but maybe a loan signing or two could help. Twenty outfield players registered, three out on loan and six struggling with fitness. Leaves just eleven fully fit including young Moyse. Little and Holman out could be a blessing in disguise as we could play 4-2-3-1 rather than bend formation to fit the players. If I could have one of the doubtful six fully fit, it would be Lapslie to partner Hall. Lemon in the hole, Rogers and O’Connell wide. Moyse, Lolos and two walking wounded on the bench. Halstead also doubtful I would think. Not bothered which of the two keepers starts. If Halstead unfit, I guess we would have young Collings registered for the bench. If not, keeper coach Kenny Griffiths? Collings and Griffiths shared first team duties at Buckland last season, but Griffiths now retired from playing. Or will we see some loanees?

Winger Alex Addai signs and on bench. Yet another ex-Cheltenham.
Little, Andrews and Lapslie out. Others fit.
Still 4-4-2 with Lemon on the wing. Rogers in for Little.

Addai signs - Sounds like he is still building up to match fitness which will take a week or two but can be an impact player in the meantime… (Are we Cheltenham in disguise?)

Commentator on BBC reckons Johnson wide and Lemon central.
I imagine that is ignorance rather than inside knowledge. Was definitely the other way round on Saturday.
I expect Lemon and Rogers to swap wings quite a bit. One right and one left footer, but both probably better at cutting in than getting to the line.

We’ve got some decent players at work 😁

Sounds like we are being outplayed.
Wish I could see the shape for myself.
Commentary team suggesting Wynter is third centre back, Johnson and Moxey wing backs, Hall holding midfield with Lemon and Rogers ahead of him. They suggest Hall is struggling with two ahead of him not getting stuck in.
If we are going with back three, would be better to have Moxey centre back, Wynter and Martin wide, Johnson and Hall centre mid with Lemon between them and front two.

Lucky to be just one down at half-time.
Can we sort ourselves out second half and get something from this game?

Hmmm, Sounds like we were outplayed with Solihull hitting the post, bar and knocking one wide with just Halstead to beat. Did come back into it apparently but await second half with a degree of trepidation…..

Goalkeeper swapped at half-time.
Got to question whether Halstead was fit after being clattered on Saturday.

Addai and Lolos for Johnson and Holman. Again, were either really fit? Or did we think half-fit players are better than Martin and O’Connell?
Guess we must be 4-4-2 now with Addai and Rogers wide, Lemon in middle with Hall.
Let’s hope we can get on the front foot, because that sounds quite an open lineup. Hope we don’t damage the goal difference further!
