Today's Sunday Janner reported that Stoke Gabriel FC has recieved planning permisison for a new clubhouse, changing facilities and a stand which could have seats added. Floodlights - which they'll need for promotion - may also follow in due course. The club now has three full-sized pitches and four mini-sized ones. More about the proposals at www.stokegabrielafc.co.uk/club_news.pl?id=48557 Two other snippets from the Janner: Minehead have given notification of their intention to possibly resign from the Western League.....and a Chippenham player managed to get sent off after three seconds of the game against Bashley (a story also in the NLP). We touched on groundshares recently. There's some odd ones at present (some temporary; others long-standing) - for all sorts of reasons - Gloucester at Cirencester; Evesham at Worcester; Aylesbury at Chesham; Slough at Beaconsfield; Horsham at Worthing; Maidstone at Sittingbourne; Fisher at Dulwich Hamlet; Worksop at Hucknall.
