Today's Sunday Janner reported that Stoke Gabriel FC has recieved planning permisison for a new clubhouse, changing facilities and a stand which could have seats added. Floodlights - which they'll need for promotion - may also follow in due course. The club now has three full-sized pitches and four mini-sized ones.

Two other snippets from the Janner: Minehead have given notification of their intention to possibly resign from the Western League.....and a Chippenham player managed to get sent off after three seconds of the game against Bashley (a story also in the NLP).

There's some odd ones at present (some temporary; others long-standing) - for all sorts of reasons - Gloucester at Cirencester; Evesham at Worcester; Aylesbury at Chesham; Slough at Beaconsfield; Horsham at Worthing; Maidstone at Sittingbourne; Fisher at Dulwich Hamlet; Worksop at Hucknall.
