Does anybody know when we will publish our retained list? Soon! probably this week? It will have to be quick fixtures are out in 14 days time (7 July) and first pre-season friendly at Buckland Athletic is in 20 days time (13 July) |

Neslon has signed for Trafalger Utd I hear weird with his injury record.... Sorry Phil  Good luck to Cov he deserves to be playing at a higher level and has been brilliant for us and such a lovely genuine guy. Sad but not at all surprised and out of contract no doubt so no fee - we seem to do that a lot .. The first of how many I wonder. Can't remember who's under contract and who isn't. Ben Whitfield rumored next but denied on his Twitter feed last week but I guess that means f*ck all and was more than likely lip service to ensure it wasn't a distraction for the final. I don't blame any of the players wanting to leave and better themselves but I can see GJ will have another rebuild job and although I trust his abilities more then any other manager its going to be a tough challenge if we lose too many of our best players. |

To lose Covolan so quickly after such heroics against Hartlepool is really sad - evenso as I listened to Radio Devon for the first 15 minutes he seemed a bit jumpy - but he made up for it. He could do well at Port Vale and go higher again - after all 30 is not old for a Goalie - good luck to him.
Unless he has a change of heart I'd guess Whitfield is almost certain to leave. In that department, we need Aaron Nemane fit asap.
Matt Buse must be disappointed - wasn't he playing well enough to be National League 'Player of the Month' not so long ago but apart from him, no real surprises in those released - good luck to them too.
Great to see Olaf and Louis will be around and let's hope Gary can bring them through at last.
Meantime I guess we sweat about who else might be tempted away . . . .

I'm disappointed Matt Buse lost out, obviously not a first choice but I thought an excellent squad member, did a job when required of him.

Argyle first up on 31 July followed by Tiverton on 3 August. Buckland advertised the fixture for 13 July some time ago maybe more of a training kick about or maybe youth team players. ⚽️ |
