Result: 1-1 McNichol Attendance: 3803 ? Jon. Is this attendance correct? Or is it sheer coincidence that it is the same as the Wolves game? Interesting! The Centenary History has 3803 for both. As I have noted before, figures in the Centenary History do tally with the official Football League records. Rothmans has 3803 for Wolves but 3383 for Exeter - in line with gullone's cutting. Figures in newspapers and in Rothmans are not always right as we have discussed before but this does sound like there could be an error with the official figure. I wonder if the club submitted the Wolves figure twice in error. I will see if I can get the powers that be to look into this further. |
