Not sure that comment about Newport’s player-manager makes sense, but assume it means he has a hopeless task.
He did end the season clinching promotion on a very rainy day at Plainmoor, having concentrated on playing at Swansea after Newport sacked him.
Don’t know if Boris Johnson is a Newport fan or a Swansea fan, but I’m sure I heard him on the news the other night proclaiming how much he loves John Lewis.
