While everyone remembers the final Crewe game a few weeks later this game will always stay in my memory. We had been dropping points and looking relegation certainties and this mid week home game was an absolute must win. We simply refused to let the opposition out of their own half for long periods and i think Dave Thomas described the evening perfectly...  |
