Hope it is not too bad but will be out for a bit. We are playing alright and our midfield is better and have worked 9 shots. Thought Asa was clearly fouled early on for a penalty with an open goal. Wrexham could have scored with a free kick which hit the crossbar. Game on!

Likely the last we'll see of Kimbioka who had supposedly recovered from a hamstring injury that had kept him out for months unless it felt tight and is just a precaution though I doubt it. How many hamstrings is that in this season? Listening to this one but sounds like we have been on well top again but as always ineffective in and around the opponents box. All that effort and dominance - set up nicely for the sucker punch second period.

Is it me or has Covolan gone to pieces in the last 15 minutes? Need to keep it up the other end.

Will take a smash and grab 3 points every day of the week. Wrexham looked toothless, but 3 points is three points. Fingers crossed CLE and Kimpioka back soon.

Another undeserved win with a very very late scrappy goal from Sherring from a long throw and which marks his first winner of the season. There have been plenty of games where we’ve been the better side and lost or drawn so these things do even out over the season. Suddenly four wins in five games and the gap is closing, six points behind Sutton and four points behind Hartlepool, three games in hand against the latter team of course.

10 points from Wrexham who are now in 8th having played the same number of games. Precautionary substitutions of CLE and Kimpioka would do nicely. Not that we will hear. And neither will our next opposition.

That is the way to do it give them no time to get back! Onwards we march as the Sutton United implosion continues with only 1 win in 6 now 🤣⚽️

If we get 6 points from those games, I’ll start joining in with your optimism, stefano. Weymouth will feel they were unlucky between Christmas and New Year against us. And Sutton are Sutton. And top for a reason.

Opens the door for Umerah again, I still he think he is a better option than either Boden or Waters who offered nothing today.

Big win that sounded like a gutsy display and kept going till the end. Four wins out of five and more points gained on Hartlepool and Sutton who just six points ahead now. Lucky? well maybe none of those wins looked dominant completely but we do seem stronger defensively which has at least givebn us a base to win games even if only by the narrowest of margines. Still pretty poor up top just not showing the threat or intensity we did earlier in the season and that's still the main concern. Doing it another way 1-0 or 5-0 its still only three points and credit to the management and players for finding a way. Hope the two injuries are less serious than they look but knowing our luck....... On to Weymouth on Saturday a must win game before the "Biggy" next Tuesday where we could possibly catch them as they get the wobbles..

Think he will be tactically left out against Weymouth and unleashed on Sutton on the Tuesday. Although I am daydreaming, so possibly not. Stockport and Notts County will still believe they can mount a title push and are close behind us.

Umerah is frustrating and can look like a Sunday league park player but he does ruffle defenders and has the physicality and athleticism to make space for other. Our goal threat has diminished alarmingly with no natural wide men to get behind defenders but we have fortunately found a way to win games - but only just and that still has to be a major concern.

Hartlepool came from behind to get a point with an outfield player in goal for nearly an hour! Still think they will push us all the way, along with the two Counties (Notts and Stockport) and maybe even Chesterfield who have shot up the table after a dreadful start. Sutton don't have a game on Saturday so we could be just three points behind when we play them, let's see how they cope with the pressure. They have made a habit in recent seasons of falling away in the closing stages, many of their fans think they don't really want promotion as their plastic pitch is such a huge part of their community model.

Could this be the result... it's the hope that kills.
