Think we will be a different proposition with Wright and Kimpioka up front than we have been. I expect Boden will start with Kimpioka again on Monday with the change made as today as Wright gets his legs back. I do really hope that Andrews is preferred to Little on the left. Little looked poor again today, sadly, and needs benching. Yep, set up all wrong and not able to stretch play out wide or pass through the middle. At least Andrews cans deliver some quality ball in. Wright shows what we have been missing these last three months and provides a focal point for the attack that no one else can do.

Made hard work of scraping a lucky three points against a very poor team.
Hope the three points keeps us on track for the playoffs, but we will have to play a hell of a lot better than that to have any chance of winning the playoffs.
Was concerned about the lack of width and whether we would have anybody with enough energy to link midfield to attack. Concerns well justified.
Kimpioka started brightly but we are in danger of dragging him down to our level and blunting his enthusiasm if we give him no service.
The big plus was the return of Wright. He seemed fit and raring to go - but we must be very careful to manage his game time and not overuse him. Would think he and Kimpioka could be a very effective paring IF we can sort out the supply from wide or from midfield.

Happy Easter!
Well as forecast the Sutton United implosion has started and will continue. 1 win in 4 games. You can get the jitters at the top you know! 🤣
Gulls. Even without being impressive 3 wins out of 4. Just wait until we really hit form overtaking the imploding Sutton will be a walk in the park! ⚽️

Looking forward to having Wright, Kimpioka,Nemane and Whitfield all fit. Nemane has been a very big miss. If we are playing well when they return, Whitfield may have to fight hard for his place back now that we have two decent forwards to mix the shape up. Nemane, for me, would be a shoe-in, though.

Not sure Sutton are imploding...unbeaten in their last 13 games. That is good 12 games to go so if 13 undefeated now there is no way they will go another 12 without a few defeats thrown in. Just doesn't happen. They are not Arsenal! 😉⚽️

If we are playing well when they return, Whitfield may have to fight hard for his place back now that we have two decent forwards to mix the shape up. Nemane, for me, would be a shoe-in, though. Form and fitness can vary over a season. Nemane still had plenty of criticism in the early part of the season but soon proved those wrong and Johnson right for playing him during our amazing pre-Christmas run. Getting all of the above back fit and up to speed would leave Johnson with lots of difficult decisions but that is good as it keeps players on their toes and give him the option to rest and rotate during an intensive period of games. Personally, I think if you have a fit Nemane and Whitfield then you need them both playing on the wings and the Woking game showed how much we missed them. We adjusted to having one striker upfront when it became obviously Wright was the best quality striker we had (he also had criticism early on) and to accommodate a talented midfield three of Hall, Randell and CLE. Little is back in the mix but not at his best and may need a pre-season a la Nemane to get there but will get game time while Randell is on the right. So for me, when everyone is fit although this may not happen, the choice is 4-4-2 if Kimpioka shows what he has got or alternate with him and Wright. Andrews and Randell are probably our best two stand in wingers in the meantime.

With all back fit, it is only if we go 4-5-1 that we can fit in Hall, Evans, Whitfield, Nemane and Randell. 4-4-2 and Whitfield may miss out. Would be nice to have that problem, though. Not there yet.
