Boden almost scored in injury time but his back kick went straight to the keeper. Very lucky not to concede in the first couple of minutes when Kings Lynn hit the bar from a freekick and then Covolan had to save well from the follow-up. Gradually came back into the game and think we have an excellent chance of taking all three points in the second half.

Little up front alongside Boden, Randell wide right, Lemonheigh-Evans centre midfield with license to get forward and support the front two.

Got away with it in the first 2 minutes.
KL slick passing through midfield for a team in their position and should have punished us, better sides would have had a couple.
Plenty of possession and some good balls in from Andrews but predictably nothing or no one to get on the end of things up front.
Still think we look shot and lacking fluency compared to the way we were playing before New Year.
Law had a couple of nightmare moments defensively has hit the ball into touch twice , played across the defence twice and supported Andrews well twice.
A real mixed bag from an inexperienced player sadly I can see him costing us a goal.
Hurry up and get fit Moxey, Cameron, Whitfield, Nemane and Wright!!
Referee is awful.
Still asking myself where the hell are the goals going to come from just cannot see us hitting the back of the net unless KL gift us something and that looks highly unlikely.

A good afternoon for a change, we haven't had many of those recently and a win from the gift we all hoped we would be presented with but you have to ask yourself how it would have ended if KL had scored from that free kick early on. For a change we got the rub of the green.
Thought our game and confidence stepped up a level after the goal and we starting pressing higher up on their defenders.
Just demonstrates no matter how much possession you have you need genuine threat and goals up top.
Can we keep in touch with such a punch less forward line? I doubt it but if we get some more effective forwards back, Whitfield, Wright, Nemane hopefully soon we may just have a chance.
More relief than anything cant say I enjoyed it even though we dominated so much of the game.
Keeping the faith for the time being.

Let’s hope a couple of scrappy wins can get the confidence back and we can start to play like promotion contenders again.

Let’s hope a couple of scrappy wins can get the confidence back and we can start to play like promotion contenders again. Very winnable game Tuesday against an opposition low on confidence. C’mon United. Me and Stefano both predicting a comfortable loss against them. |
