UPDATE. THATCHERS CIDER have also come on board by way of sponsorship for this event. We thank Chris Milton and all at Thatchers, as well as Mark Bowen and all at MB Insolvency, for their generous help. Lee Mansell has also been added to the panel and will be appearing on behalf of a local Muscular Dystrophy charity. Friday 9th April. 7pm start. £10. We recommend that you book early for this because: a) if you book before the end of March you can submit a question to the panel. b) in order to avoid any technical details that may arise on the day. We don't want another D&R stream fiasco on our hands. www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/legends-of-the-buckle-era-tickets-146033276461Many Thanks, Ben.

Really enjoyed this event after signing up at the last minute and thank s to those organising it. Just a bit of banter between Manse and Nico and Gritton wondering why the hell he was there. Good to hear from Buckle again who is based in California and named Sills as his best signing. Always good to hear about his Wembley goal and Carlisle's thought processes in the split second he looked up - Stevens - too short, Benyon, too unreliable, Sills coming in, hang the ball up for him.....
Interesting question, never answered, which was the better team, class of 2009 or 2021? Or if you had a choice of picking the best XI?

Be nice to think that footballers put that much thought into a single kick in the game. Ball is on the right wing - 3 attacking players are attacking the goal - so Carlisle pings it across. Simple as that! If it had landed by Stevens and he volleyed it into the roof of the net then the story would now be that they had been practising a cross and volley all week in training which is why he put it there. 🤣
Does make a good tale mind! ⚽️
