Two players in, one out. Andrew’s at left back is not ideal. Poor keeping from MacDonald for the own goal. Well done Whitfield for the penalty and well taken by Hall. Not created enough in the final third but Halifax have had to work hard to stay in it and hope we can push on in the second half. I don't think any team would cope with the amount of injuries we've got to key players and now lost Cameron God knows for how long. Be lucky if our season holds together we are now a mid-table side at best.

What’s Hamon like? I’d prefer MacDonald to have a rest.

Absolute shite (again) Best team won Agreed, very poor in the second half. Need to be more compact when in front.

Outplayed in the second half. We look toothless up front. Keeper looks a bit shaky.

Awful performance all over the pitch. Set pieces were woeful and you were just waiting for Halifax to score every time they went forward. We have been abysmal since Christmas and we will not go up playing like this, or indeed make the play offs. To cap it all Cameron goes off injured, looks like another hamstring. Oh happy days.

Sutton 4 points behind with 3 games in hand and then we probably lose 3 points when Dover get expelled. Shades of 1990/91 all over again.

Well done to Halifax we were simply awful and surprisingly didnt look that interested no energy or momentum.. Both sides hit by injuries though bt only mentioned Halifax's problems. No one turned up today not even our big players. ClE and one or two others were anonymous, both target men utterly inefective and caused a poor Halifax side no problems. It was up to individuals to make things happen and not one had it in them. Halifax wanted it more than us simple and could easily have been 3-0 we created nothing in open play.GJ has a tough job on his hands now. Our season is going one way unless we can get some key players back and recapture some of early season form.

This is exactly what I meant when I posted this on the Altrincham thread: Worryingly reminiscent of the 1990/91 season.1990/91 First 13 matches: W 9 D 4 L 0 Pts 31 Next 12 matches: W 1 D 7 L 4 Pts 10 Last 21 matches: W 8 D 7 L 6 Pts 31 (made the play offs by one point) 2020/21 First 12 matches: W10 D 1 L 1 Pts 31 Next 11 matches: W 3 D 4 L 4 Pts 13 Last 23 matches: (any guesses?)

Whitfield and Randell now injured I hear.............................. only kidding Its not a disaster YET! but we need to get our act together soon one way or another or the season could easily turn into a disaster. How to deal with so many injuries to key players, the ones that made us look so dynamic and dangerous - now another key player picks yet another bloody hamstring injury in the first 20 minutes.. Have t keep the faith and believe GJ can turn it all around - if anyone can......... Ran out of straws to clutch at tonight Had an option to bring on Olaf and put CLE in a central role but it didn't happen. Street isn't ready for this level and Umerah is inefective, Waters is a box player and lets face it the back line was a once again new and inexperienced. But there was no service into the box we just didn't get the ball into dangerous areas. Teams have sussed us unfortunately along with being weakened significantly by injuries we are seeing the results.
