Happy New Year everyone. 😀
2020 has certainly been difficult but promotion for TUFC in May will certainly make us all feel that much better......

Yes, let's hope for lots more enjoyable football from our fine team continuing in 2021, and even better than we'll once again permitted to go along to enjoy it in person. Topped off with some success to reward their efforts would be the icing on the cake.
And best wishes for a happy and healthy new year to everyone involved in whatever way with TFF. It's certain to be an interesting year ahead.

Regina (Mrs Register) and I were enjoying a cold glass of wine in front of a cosy coal fire last night when the snow started falling. My mind immediately went back to the Dumpling of the old days when the bar was separate from the now food place. Darts one end and the fire tother, with that big bar stool sat there empty because Big John might come through the door at any moment...very strange. 🤨

It's the nearest pub to where I live but haven't been in there for years.

Now that is a deep memory, I’ll give my mate in Chelston a ring because he’ll probably know who Big John and Long John were.

Big John was seemingly John O’Dare, whilst Long John has been lost in the annals of time. Although there is a strong rumour that he hit someone over the head with the aforementioned stump, and was told not to put a foot in the Dumpling again! Farmer Slugget also had a chair that no one else was allowed to sit in. Now if you can remember him, it really is time to prepare for the next life...always like to finish on a happy note! 😌

Always a couple of very big dogs around to unerve you if i remember rightly. Is my memory playing tricks or was it Evans yard ?

I could have said Zimbabwe, but Rob gets somewhat tetchy when I mention Zimbabwe so I say abroad now instead of Zimbabwe. 🇿🇼
