After the first 10 games of the season managers like to reassess where things are at and Johnson has quite rightly given himself an A+. Top of the league, two points clear and with a game in hand over our nearest rivals, Sutton who ironically lost 4-0 to our next opponents Wrexham. Much has been made of Wrexham’s take over by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney but no signs of squad strengthening yet. Nevertheless, Wrexham have been on a good run of form with some good wins and a draw against high flying Bromley before surprisingly losing midweek against Altrincham, although to be fair, they are doing well themselves helped by playing a couple of million more games than everybody else! As ever, things are never perfect and we have spent the last two games without a recognised left back although Andrews did well in that general area on Tuesday and reminded us of his creativity that sees goals come from his direction. Wright was suffering from a cold and a bit off but Umerah and Waters showed we have plenty of options now up front if he is not fully fit. The big difference on Saturday is that fans will be back, likely up to our socially distanced capacity whatever that may be. It will be a completely different experience but better than streaming and something to get used to for the next couple of months with normality beckoning towards the tail end of the season.

Will be a strange experience tomorrow.
Looking forward to it, but obviously will not be the day at the Football we all know and love.
But all you can do is make the most of the situation and get on with it.
I see we have a capacity of 1,250 which should allow social distancing.
Am sure the club will do all they can and am sure the vast majority of our fans will act thoughtfully and with consideration for others.
Hope we do not have a small number of fools trying to spoil it for everyone and hope the stewards do not have to jeopardise their health dealing with them.
Come on you yellows!

Another tough encounter against a much revived Wrexham side that still regularly features our old friend Luke Young. Last years contest was a pretty even and dour mid week encounter if I remember ending in a narrow 1-0 win but whatever the result tomorrow should be a day of celebration as we finally see the return of fans. Not sure why the crowd is limited to 12500 but I did read that it will be gradually increased to 1728 in the coming weeks. I would imagine the majority of the 1250 will be season ticket holder but I'm sure not all will attend. Looking forward to watching at home in the warm and cheering the boys on from my armchair - for the time being at least.
Lets see how it goes first and make a noise for me I'm sure you will all be allowed to clap and ooh and ahh!

Sold out...have I been somewhat harsh on the Torquay public...would we indeed have reached the 2000 mark?
I do like the final number allowed though, 1728...who figured that out? Is that number the same for the whole of the league we’re in, or is it done by individual clubs?

Variables are how many people from the same household can attend and stand/sit together so assumptions would have to be made for non STHs.

Who does all this stuff though...variables of households...who can stand/sit together...what a load of bollocks! That is one ‘Jobsworth’ person who does that nonsense. Right, here we go, TUFC have this capacity, so they can have half...that’ll keep the buggers apart...simples!

Only change - Warren for Kerr on the bench ...and Kerr starts in place of Wynter.

The number 2000 was gleaned from a previous post where it seemed that was going to be our allotted amount for this match. I too think this would have been a sell out (if elf & safety didn’t intervene again) match if times had been normal.

Good half, Wrexham are very very lucky to be only a goal down. Whitfield goal was superb and he is on fire. Sloppy defending for their corner but shouldn’t have been a corner anyway, think the ref was feeling a bit sorry for them at that stage,...

Playing really well. Should be further ahead.
Straight 4-2-3-1 with Sherring right back and Andrews left back.
Bloke behind me said "sloppy goal from a corner" just before Wrexham proved him dead right. I've missed that kind of Popside insight this season.

Great first half but only the one goal lead that makes me nervous. Looking so good across the middle going forward - Whitfield, Namane and CLE are a revelation and a real threat. Poor goal to concede free header from a corner their only real chance of the half. Concerned with the knocks CLE has taken he's so effective we don't need to lose him. Great to see and hear fans in the ground again.
