Can anyone remember if this was the game when the Cardiff fans invaded the pitch from the Babbacombe end and got about three quarters of the way towards the mimi stand and were turned back ? By that time even Mr Tench and co had bailed out of the mini....me included !

By that time even Mr Tench and co had bailed out of the mini....me included ! Yes it was. The police would later recommend having fences at the Babbacombe end. What did the club do? Fence in the mini stand. It was this decision that convinced me the club didn't really want any fans, just our money. I stood in the mini stand for a couple of games after the fencing was installed then vacated it for the pop side, never been at the Ellacombe end since. |

Cardiff team contained another two future TUFC players in Grapes and Bishop.
