Result: 4-5 Downs(2), Cox, Parsons Attendance:633 Lindsay Parsons played 484 competitive first team games for Bristol Rovers and Torquay and never scored a single goal. I wonder what the record is for outfield appearances without a goal. His goal in this game was an absolute screamer. Young striker Greg Downs scored in his only competitive game for Torquay, scored twice here but then went on to a very long league career as a left back. |
