link - looks like the Plymouth manager sees Randell as the perfect fit for us. After getting in Tyrese Fornah, a similar player from Nottingham Forest on a season long loan, there was space to loan him out to get some first team experience. Lots of interest from league 2 clubs but only as a squad player. Sounds like there is scope to extend the loan if it works out for both parties. link - Plymouth manager still very happy how Randell is getting on with him now starting a couple of games and looking very likely he will have his loan extended. Johnson talked about how you almost need two sets of eleven players in the Devon Live podcast and I can see all three of the loanees having their terms extended at the end of the month.

Jamie Reid Reid yet to hit his stride at Mansfield. Possible loan signing in future?

Jamie Reid Reid yet to hit his stride at Mansfield. Possible loan signing in future? Doubt it. Nobody in that team is hitting their stride at the moment and Reid had started the previous two games. Truth is they are bloody awful and there is going to be lots of chopping and changing by the manager to find a formula that works. I sincerely hope that Jamie doesn't find himself back in the National League next season but the Stags are going to have to buck (pun intended) up their ideas pretty soon.

link - nice interview with Cameron after getting that brace on Saturday. Obviously looking at his improvement as a goal threat but also focusing on the team defending all the way through the side and is something that players like Kalala have yet to add to their game. Kyle has certainly improved all round as a player since coming to the club just over two years ago and still only 23 so just coming into his prime and I suspect will be an EFL player more often than not in the next 10 years.

link- Koszela and Slough are going out on loan to Dorchester. Good move in that they are able to get some first team football in and up to match fitness but indicates our injury crisis is now over.

Just listened to the yellow army podcast and Johnson is hoping that Little will be fit enough to be in the match day squad at least on Saturday and is the closest of the long-term injured to being fit again. Good news and with the cover we have got means we can slowly build him up to full match fitness where we all know what he can do.

Thanks rjdgull...any news on Nelson? From a past British hero to hopefully a future yellow one, Nelson was out for a few weeks but that was 2 weeks ago. Knees can take a long time to heal but Johnson likes to play with his cards close to his chest so we are not really getting many updates. In the short term, our forward line is the main worry, no Nelson or Umerah, Koszela out on loan, if Britton cup tied then really tight but CLE and Whitfield can both play in support of Wright and not unduly concerned about tomorrow.

Britton was not available to prevent him being cup tied but Umerah back to lead the line for 60 minutes. Kerr also made the bench and Little playing just leaves Nelson and Davis in the not fit category with the former close. Also nice to see Warren get 90 minutes. Some real competition for places now and flexibility in how we line up.Happy Days.

When you have got Hall and Little on the bench, you know Buse is not going to get much game time. Best thing is for him to get match fit so available for recall if we have another injury crisis. Probably an indication that Randell is going to stay with us for a bit longer. Conversely, think Waters joining us meant Britton would have less opportunity. Do not know how this affects Nelson but ironically as Waters already previously has formed a good partnership with Wright and Umerah probably not naturally complimenting him then you probably have two pairs fighting it out for the target man and smaller but quicker striker positions.
