Today will be our sixth ever first team game on February 29th. Only our second ever home game on that date (the first in my life time), yet our third ever at Plainmoor.
Fans of Crad will understand why.

Thanks for that Jon, I see that this is literally a generational occasion with those Saturday matches occurring every 28 years for the past century. We had the one Wednesday game against Watford but strange to see that there are no Tuesday games in there.

Just a piece of useless information, but I was speaking to the Stranraer FC 's Secretary in March and he was telling me that Stranraer had never played a Home game on February 29th, and this year they were to play Peterhead on that date, which would be their first ever. Guess what, the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch ! Stranraer were formed in 1870, so that is some achievement.
