This match may come only 3 days after our New Year’s Day defeat but I suspect there will be a change in the line up but news of any signings or returns from injury may not reach us until match day itself.
It was a very rare scoreless draw between these us and them from earlier in the season and although I would take that result again, I think it is a very unlikely outcome!

Looking at Dagenham’s recent form you’d hope we could get something from this game.

Can't say I expect very much again today despite D&R virtually matching our own current form. The new manager "dead cat bounce" may play a part. Our injury/suspension list has improved a little of late but those players are clearly not quite up to speed and have had difficulty coping with the rigors of the compacted holiday fixtures. Still missing influential players, the ones than can create or change a game in an instant but again they will need a number of games to get back to proper match fitness. A very difficult situation for the manager to resolve hes on the back foot a bit but I'm sure hes trying his damnedest to get the right players in.
We've all witnessed what a seemingly impossible task that's proved to be with the ones hes tried and virtually all have failed to meet expectations or make an impact, either to young or to old with little match time and just not sharp enough. Getting the "right players" is a virtually impossible task we simply do not have the funds though Im always hopeful. I feel he will have to retain Cundy if he can that is and end up sticking with the Cundy Cameron combo in the middle of the back four. He has to find a left wing back as its thrown out any defensive balance we did have and Cameron is only damaging his own reputation trying cover position hes just not cut out for. With Wyter out as well is it any wonder we offer little going forward down the flanks.? How bad is his injury, anyone know? I do wish we could have some sort of update forecast on length injuries from the football club it would sure help to get the message across to supporters and offer a little hope for the coming months if nothing else.
Desperately need something from the game today but there's been a n awful lot of damage done to belief and confidence over the last two months and that will take some healing.

I think most clubs are coy and reticent about putting injury info out there, as it can bolster opponents, if they know for sure that certain players will be missing when they play a team. I understand that Flo but and for players with knocks that puts them out for a game or two completely understandable but the injuries we have are taking players out for many months.

Surprised to see Janneh is still in the building and actually starting after reports of his return to BC.
Glad he is still here we need all the quality we can muster to get things rolling again he would be hard to replace as we have discovered of late and has the potential to get back to his best.
Believe this is Jannehs last game for us before returning and going out to a league club.

Agree Pete. That’s one less signing we need to make if he is still around for us. Which he might not be after today?

3-1-4-2? Commentary think Andrews at left back in a 4-4-2.

Could it be the end of the month?
