Oh no, you had to mention we're playing the bottom team on Saturday...It's bad enough when rjd mentions it on a Friday! When it comes to our team in the league at the moment, it is probably best to turn the table upside down when assessing how difficult it will be for us. So, a very difficult away trip to top of the table mighty Chorley, fresh from a super 3-2 away win at Chesterfield. Somehow we need to find a way to win with all those players out and doesn’t look like the situation has changed much according to Johnson’s press interview and the pre match line up may tell us what chance we will have, such as will we have two fit central midfielders? With Met office weather warnings out over the weekend for a further deluge of rain, perhaps not actually a bad thing that we have two away games in close succession. Pretty sure the pitch would get cut up quite badly if we were playing at home. TUFC match preview

Jamie Reid misses out through bunion problem presumably. Interesting how we manage up front without his firepower. Good news is Andrews an Whitfield make the starting lineup. MacDonald also chosen ahead of Covalan and Lewis for Niate.
We should still be winning this one on season form, anything else would be seen as question mark over our chances to challenge for the top places.

No Reid or Vincent.
Back to back four with Niate on bench.
Keepers rotated.
Lewis, Andrews and Kalala in.
Buse and Lewis as a solid two, Kalala right, Andrews left, Whitfield in the hole.
Janneh leading the line.

linkMcDonald in for Covolan, However, Reid and Vincent are out! Lewis and Andrews come in. Whitfield has recovered from his knock. So, number of combinations available but maybe 3 man midfield of Lewis, Andrews and Buse with kalala and Whitfield out wide supporting Janneh up front.

Sounds like Rob is right on formation. Andrews more central in a 4-3-3. Whitfield and Kalala either side of Janneh.

Not ideal as they are hard to break down. We need to regroup at half time and get some passing going.... Had a good penalty shout in injury time

Sounds poor from us and Chorley, as expected are up for it and underdogs with no pressure on them. We don't seem to be able to handle the expectation at the moment and have lost our confident style with all of the injuries and team disruption.
Still another 45 to go but we need to do much better second half.

Man of the match so far Paul Bastard.
You will not find a more intelligent summariser anywhere.
All thoughts are relevant and clearly articulated and he never gets in the way of commentary on the game.

Painful listening to that. Not happening again to much quality on the treatment table. Big job for GJ to get performance levels up again with limited selection but demonstrates our our bench isn't really up to it.
Our luck has finally run out unfortunately.
