Well, it surely came off Hancox? I would agree - and a big enough deflection to change the direction of the shot. Rothmans gave it to Hawthorne. The Official Centenary History gives it to Hawthorne. The English National Football Archive gives it to Hawthorne. At the moment I have left my records as Hawthorne - on a sort of "Umpire's call" basis. The reason I put this up was to see if their was clear consensus either way before asking ENFA to change it. You are the first person to give an opinion. I just need to confirm that you are not biased in anyway. Mr Hancox is not a close personal friend or a member of your family member, is he? |
