First round proper draw is Monday, 7:10pm on BBC 2 and BT sports - we are number 74 in the draw, take your pick on who you would like to play against? Probably Cray Valley Paper Mills, or whatever they are called. In a normal season would love Ipswich or Sunderland but what's the point if you can't go and watch it live. |

Bit like playing Boreham Wood when we were in the National League South, will give Johnson an indication of how his players can cope with the league above. Nice to be at home.

Crawley never actually beat us, their manager did! Most people dislike Evans, but he knows football, and Buckle was beaten before he stepped on the pitch!
Much like the people who took on Mike Tyson, they talked a good fight, but when they stepped in that ring and he hit them once, they said “f**k this” and dropped to the canvas!

I see Crawley are playing tonight, away to Walsall so worth keeping an eye on. Their away form is not great having only won one league game on the road so far.

Few interesting results from the cup today and as always a few upsets along the way. I see National League north side Darlington knocked out league one side Swindon 2-1. Another league 1 side Rochdale has been knocked out by Stockport, the team just below us in the league. Dagenham in our division have knocked out Grimsby in league 2, something we hope to emulate tomorrow.
Possible the result of the day is Northern Premier team Marine knocking out league club Colchester. Also a win for Boreham Wood over Southend. Plenty of other non league clubs getting through without facing league opposition.
Both Exeter and Plymouth are through and could be a potential second round fixture for us if we get that far......
